A seminarian at the Claretian University of Nigeria, CUN, Nekede, in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State, Suel Ambrose, from Benue State, on Friday slumped and later was reported dead during an Easter dramatization of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
Ikengaonline gathered the incident occurred while the deceased and his other colleagues were demonstrating Passion of the Christ.
A source who narrated the story to Ikengaonline said the deceased suddenly slumped while the Easter drama was ongoing and after a few minutes he started bleeding.
It was then that the colleagues rushed him to the school clinic when he was not responding to first aid treatment. He was later taken to the Federal Medical Centre, FMC, Owerri, where he was reportedly pronounced dead.
At the time of filing this report, the priest in charge of student affairs, Fr. Chukwuemeka Iheme, said he could not comment on the situation without permission from the school management.
