Immediate past Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, alongside other respected leaders and activists will feature in Ikengaonline town hall meeting.
The town hall meeting will also have Prince Emmanuel Kanu, a younger brother to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), in attendance.
A statement signed by Uche Ugboajah, Editor-in-Chief, Ikengaonline, disclosed that the town hall will make its debut on Thursday, July 28, 2022.

According to the statement, Sen. Abaribe will deliver a keynote speech on “The South-East and the 2023 general election: Participation in the midst of Insecurity.”
The town hall, which will be moderated by Dr. Osmund Agbo and Dr Chido Onumah, is the first in a series of scheduled monthly meetings meant to discuss topical issues facing the South-East zone of Nigeria in particular, and the nation in general.
Ikengaonline is a South-East-focused media platform, which aims at giving voice to citizens of the South-East, and parts of Rivers and Delta states, and highlights the challenges facing the region.
It is a publication of Ikenga Media and Cultural Awareness Initiative (IMCAI), a non-profit entity that seeks to promote positive socio-cultural values, accountability and good governance through media and public education.
It is also part of the Collaborative Media Engagement for Development Inclusivity and Accountability Project, a multi-level intervention for media independence and government accountability, managed by the Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism (WSCIJ) and supported by MacArthur Foundation.
Special guests expected at the event include, Dr Alex Chidozie, publicity secretary, Ohanaeze Ndigbo; Professor Chidi Odinkalu of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, USA; Chief Chris Isiguzo, National President, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).
Other expected special guests are Prof Joy Ngozi Ezeilo, legal scholar and founder of Women Aid Collective (WACOL); civil society leaders; and youths from the South-East.
