Political Economist, Professor Pat Okedinachi Utomi, will today, August 25, 2022, feature on the 2nd Ikengaonline town hall meeting.
Professor Utomi according to a statement by the Editor-in-Chief, Ikengaonline, Uche Ugboajah, will speak on “Handshake Across the Niger: the Imperatives of Southern Unity, now and Beyond.”
The virtual meeting scheduled for 7:00pm will be transmitted live on FLO FM Radio 94.9 FM Umuahia.
It will also be streamed live via Ikengaonline Facebook page as well as FLO FM Radio Facebook page.
The statement said the town hall event would hold every last Thursday of the month.
Ugboajah said that the town hall became necessary following the need to discuss various issues affecting the South-East in particular and Nigeria in general.
According to him, Ikengaonline is a South-East-focused media platform, which aims to give voice to citizens of the zone, including those in parts of Rivers and Delta.
“The first town hall which held last month featured the immediate past Senate Minority Leader, Sen. Enyinnaya Abaribe, who spoke on ‘The South-East and the 2023 General Election: Participation in the midst of Insecurity.’

Ikengaonline is a publication of Ikenga Media and Cultural Awareness Initiative (IMCAI), a non-profit entity that seeks to promote positive socio-cultural values, accountability and good governance through media and public education.
