Amid rumours of death, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has declared that he is still alive.
Tinubu in a tweet on Sunday dismissed the rumour of his death as the handiwork of his detractors.
He said that he is strong and healthy.
Tinubu also dismissed claims that he had withdrawn from the 2023 presidential race.
He further expressed his readiness to lead Nigeria to greater heights if elected in 2023.
Meanwhile Tinubu’s tweet was accompanied by a video showing him working out on a fitness bike.
“Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign. Well… Nope.
“This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.”
Tinubu’s absence at the signing of peace accord by presidential candidates in Abuja fueled speculations that he had gone for medical treatment abroad.
He is being rumoured to have traveled to London on a medical trip but his handlers have remained evasive on what exactly Tinubu is doing in London.
