A Mitsubishi Bus was on Monday set ablaze in the early hours of October 17, 2022, at Eke Emene along Enugu-Abakaliki Expressway, Enugu.
The incident was said to have been carried out by suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), enforcing Monday sit-at-home in parts of the South-East.
An eye witness told Ikengaonline that, the perpetrators emerged from their hideouts to carry out the attack and quickly disappeared for fear of being apprehended by security operatives.
“Some unidentified gunmen suspected to be IPOP members who are against people defying their Monday Sit-At Home may have carried out the attack, ” he said.
