The National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, on Saturday said his party will win the Presidential election with a wide margin.
Anyanwu made this known to newsmen shortly after voting at his polling unit at booth 012, Central School, Amaimo, Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State.
According to him, the achievements of the PDP, in the country would guarantee victory for the party. He added that the PDP was coming to redeem the battered image of the country.
He said: “2023 election remains a rare opportunity for the country to redeem its battered image globally. The achievements of PDP from 1999 to 2015 is enough to convince Nigerians to vote for the party, members of our party should guide and guard their votes jealously to avoid APC manipulations.
“The reason why APC leaders are struggling relentlessly to manipulate the polls is due to its colossal failure in the areas of education, agriculture, health, transportation, crime reduction, economy and security of lives and property.”
“PDP will do its best to revive the economy, rescue and equip all moribund sectors, the level of corruption, killings, banditry and kidnapping occasioned by insecurity in the country will be a thing of the past once PDP assumes office.
“Nigerians should vote freely without fear or favour, also reveals that PDP administration when constituted will create a conducive business environment, reduce the outrageous cost of goods/services, restore confidence, and instill discipline to be respectful to the rule of law,” Anyanwu said.
