The Governorship candidate of African Action Congress (AAC) for Enugu State, Mr Kene Ogbodo, has proposed a 5-point development agenda that will bring development to the state if elected governor.

Ogbodo, who disclosed this while speaking to Journalists in Enugu, said the 5-point agenda include free health care; good security; free education; more prosperity; and many opportunities.

According to him, the AAC under his leadership was ready and prepared to change the narrative in the state with the 5-point programme.

“My administration will provide free healthcare services at all levels and not only free but quality healthcare to the residents of Enugu State.

“My government will provide quality, free and compulsory education to all children in the state, because it is the bedrock of any meaningful development.

“As a youth myself, I will create many employment opportunities for the youths of our state which will open doors of prosperity for the teeming population because the youth are the strength of any nation.

“Incidentally, we can only achieve these lofty programmes in the atmosphere of peace and security, therefore, security of lives and property is going to be provided in all parts of the state.

“Of course, you know that when government provides jobs and youths are gainfully employed, the problem of insecurity is partially solved,” he said.

He appealed to the people to vote for him and be prepared to “reap the fruits of democracy.”

It would be recalled that the state governorship and houses of assembly elections will take place on Saturday March 18.
