President-Elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Monday afternoon returned to Nigeria after about one month sojourn abroad.

Tinubu who was declared winner of the February 25 presidential poll left Nigeria on March 21 for a trip to France and speculations were that he went on medical vacation but his aides had since debunked that.

According to his aides, the former Lagos Governor whose victory at the polls is now being contested at the presidential election petitions tribunal, went to have some rest ahead of his inauguration on May 29.

He returned amid a heroic welcome by his supporters at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja.

He was driven to the Defense House in a motorcade.
