The immediate-past Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir el-Rufai; and his Rivers counterpart, Nyesom Wike, were spotted among the names one the long-awaited Ministerial list of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
A source confided in Ikengaonline that Wike and el-Rufai had been given the slots from their respective states because of their prominent roles in the emergence of Tinubu.
Other names sighted on the list include the incumbent Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communications and Strategy to the President, Dele Alake; former Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola; former Commissioner for Health Cross River State, Beta Edu; Wale Edun; and former Deputy Governor of Central Bank, Adebayo Adelabu.
President Tinubu is expected to transmit the ministerial list to the Senate today baring any last minute change.
An earlier list transmitted to the Senate penultimate week was said to have been withdrawn following some last-minute changes as some of the nominees were said to have failed security report due to corruption cases.
