President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Wednesday, transmitted the second batch of ministerial nominees to the Senate.
The list was delivered to the Senate by Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.
When Gbajabiamila stepped into the red chamber at 3:15 pm, the Rules of the chamber were suspended to let in the former Speaker, House of Representatives.
Ikengaonline had reported that Tinubu had last week sent a list of 28-man ministerial nominees to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
The Senate which began the screening of the nominees on Monday was still on with the process when the supplementary list was delivered.
The Senate, meanwhile, was yet to unveil the list as at the time of filing this report.
