The Commissioner of Police, CP Anambra State, Mr Aderemi Adeoye, has said that the state fared well in the comity of states despite the many challenges in the country.
Adeoye said this in his congratulatory message to Governor Chukwuma Soludo and the people of Anambra State on the 32nd anniversary of the creation of the state.
The Police Commissioner noted that despite the many challenges facing the country, Anambra had fared well in the area of security and well being of the people.
He commended the people of the state for being peace-loving and law abiding and urged them to continue to uphold their reputation as hardworking and industrious people.
The Commissioner who was posted to Anambra State as a young officer same year the State was created and who served for 10 years in different parts of the state in the 90s, extolled the huge potentials of the state.
He pledged that the Police would continue to work with other security agencies and stakeholders to improve on security situation of the state until normalcy is fully restored.
