    Otti transmits list of LG TC chairmen, deputies to Abia assembly for screening

    Governor Alex Otti, has released the list of nominees for Transition Committee Chairmen and their Deputies for the 17 Local Government Areas in the state.

    A statement by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Uzor Nwachukwu, said the list had been forwarded to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.

    The statement advised the nominees to proceed to the House of Assembly for screening.

    This would be the first set of TC committee members for the Councils to be appointed by Governor Alex Otti since he came to power on May 29.

    The Governor had at the expiration of the tenure of the last set of elected Council Chairmen in the State, handed over the administration of the third tier of Government to Head of Service in charge of the respective Councils.

    Below is the list of TC chairmen and their Deputies made available to Ikengaonline:

    1. IsialaNgwa South LGA:

    Chairman- DR. ELELENTA NWAMBUISI ELELE.

    Deputy- Mr. Eberechukwu Ahuruonye.

    1. Ukwa West LGA:
