Police in Anambra State have vowed to fish out the killers of politician murdered in Nanka, Orumba South Local Government Area, Anambra State.
It would be recalled that the politician who is the ward Chairman of Young Progressives Party ( YYP), Nanka Ward 1, was killed by unidentified persons after organising a meeting between the Member representing Orumba North and South in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Princess Chinwe Nnabuife, and her Nanka constituents.
Police Spokesman in the state, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, in a statement, said the Commissioner of Police, CP Aderemi Adeoye, condemned the killing in strongest possible terms. He also described the killers as cowards who have murdered sleep.
“They might think they have committed a perfect crime and that they would get away with it but they delude themselves.
“The Police is already working on vital clues to unmask the perpetrators.”
The Command re-assured the public not to be afraid but join hands with the Police in bringing the murderers and their sponsor to justice.
