Pro-Biafa group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), says it has opened a new liaison office in Padova to serve as a contact office for its members in Italy.
IPOB Spokesperson, Comrade Emma Powerful, in a release obtained by Ikengaonline, said the new contact office adds to the number of liaison offices within the European continent.
He said: “The purpose of setting up Biafra Liaison offices by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB leadership is primarily to explore and promote the Biafran cultural heritage, trade, investment, and economic development for the people of Biafra.
“The Liaison offices also serve as a communication center for Biafrans. It is also an official link for diplomatic engagement for the Indigenous People of Biafra around the world as we pursue our quest for the rebirth of Biafra Nation.”
He said further that “IPOB leadership is strategically positioning Biafra for the final restoration push. We are moving quickly towards the restoration of Biafra’s Independence and sovereignty through a referendum.
“Biafrans and particularly IPOB are fully committed to restoring Biafra sovereignty.”
