Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has scheduled an interacting session with the elderly, vulnerable and people living with disabilities on Monday (today) in Awka, the state capital.
According to the Press Secretary to the governor, Christian Aburime, the event is part of Soludo’s demonstration of practical commitment to the poor, down-trodden and forgotten members of the community.
“This will be an opportunity for the Governor to hear from the aged and Elderly including the disability community about their experiences, challenges and of course, ways of making life meaningful for them.”
Aburime said the event takes place Monday (today); Mon. 27th November, 2023 and poses to offer a productive and insightful interaction with the disabilities community.
He also said it is another practical side of Governor Soludo’s compassionate and empathetic disposition to the downtrodden and less privilege people in the society.
