The Enugu State Government has directed Traditional Rulers, President Generals of Town Unions and Community Youth leaders, to mobilise qualified youths in their various domains to enlist into the ongoing recruitment into the Nigerian Navy DSSC course 29.
Hon. Aka Eze Aka, State Commissioner for Information & Communication gave the directive in a statement made available to Journalists in Enugu.
The statement reads in part: “The honourable Commissioner for Information and Communication, Enugu State, wishes to notify Enugu State citizens and indeed the general public of the ongoing SPECIAL ENLISTMENT INTO THE NIGERIAN NAVY DIRECT SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION COURSE 29 by the Nigerian Navy, inviting applications from suitably qualified Nigerians for the 2024 Nigerian Navy Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) as follows:
“Details for the application according to the statement, can be obtained through the link: https://www.joinnigeriannavy.com/ and the application for the SPECIAL ENLISTMENT INTO THE NIGERIAN NAVY DIRECT SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION COURSE 29 which started on 27th December, 2023, will end on 7th February 2024.
“All LG Council Chairmen, Traditional Rulers, Presidents-General and Youth Leaders of various communities, have been directed to urgently ensure the dissemination of this vital information to members of their locality.”
Ikengaonline recalled that, the state government through the ministry had made similar efforts during last Police recruitment exercise.
