“This resolution takes effect from 8: 00 on the 23rd day of Jan, 2024 simultaneously at both Nsukka and Obollo Afor.
“It was equally resolved that members of both branches shall be mobilised to the High court of Enugu Ezike sitting at Enugu to ensure that no Lawyer goes into the court. This shall be on his sitting days.
“It was further resolved that attendance to this protest is mandatory to all members of both branches.
“There shall be PRESS coverage. The dress code during the protest is strictly formal and time is 8:00am dot,” the NBA stated.

“Please we are all encouraged to participate in this protest/boycott to realise its objectives,” it said.
Ikengaonline understands that the protest was as a result of insecurity along Ugwuogo-Opi-Nsukka road which is prone to kidnapping of which many Lawyers have been victims while traveling to honour cases.
