    Nigerian artistes lose out at 66th Grammy awards in US

    All Nigerian artistes lost out on Sunday at the 66th Grammy awards held at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, United States of America.

    None of the five artistes from Nigeria nominated for the annual award was able to bag any award at the global show.

    The Nigerian artistes who were nominated included – David Adeleke, aka, Davido; Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy; Ahmed Ololade, aka Asake; Olamide Adedeji, aka Baddo; and Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, aka Ayra Starr; all lost out of the Grammy in their combined 10 nominations across different award categories.

    In November 2023, the five artistes were nominated for the 2024 Grammy Awards.
