Imo state Governor Senator, Hope Uzodimma, has reappointed Chief Cosmas Iwu as Secretary to the Government of Imo State; Chief Nnamdi Anyaehie as Chief of Staff; and Sydney Agbo as Deputy Chief of Staff, Operations.
Others appointed are Chief Patrick Ekeji as deputy chief of staff administration; Chief Ferdinand Uzodimma, deputy chief of staff, general services; while Mr Sam Nwaobasi will serve as special adviser on programmes and policy implementation/monitoring.
Governor Uzodimma also dissolved boards of government parastatals, agencies, extra ministerial departments and commissions and approved the dissolution of development centre coordinators in the state.
According to the press release by the Chief Press Secretary and Media Adviser to the Governor, Mr Oguwike Nwachuku, the appointments and the dissolution take effect immediately.
Mr. Nwachukwu urged the appointees to bring their wealth of experience to drive the vision of shared prosperity.
The release also notes that the Governor appreciated them for their contributions in the areas they served and has directed them to hand over government property in their possession to the most senior persons.
