Popular Nigerian actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo, a.k.a Jnr Pope, has reportedly been revived after being involved in a boat mishap in Anambra river.
The accident occurred when the actor, alongside three other actors were returning from a movie location somewhere in Asaba, Delta State.
A filmmaker, Sam Olatunji, had earlier broken the news that the 39-year-old actor died alongside three others after their boat capsized, with a trending video showing moments bodies of the victims were recovered.
However, reports reaching Ikengaonline and which are now trending online have it that Junior Pope has been revived, alive and undergoing medical attention at the moment.
Trending on different social media platforms are videos of fans of the Nollywood actor jubilating moments after news of his survival filtered into the air.
However, Ikengaonline reports that there has been no official statement from Nollywood on the true situation of things as at the time of filing this report.
