Ugo Nosiri, Owerri
Former Governor of Imo State, Chief Emeka Ihedioha, has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
His resignation was made known through a letter he submitted to the Mbutu PDP ward Chairman in Aboh-Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State where he is a member.
Chief Ihedioha represented Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala federal constituency from 2003 to 2015, where he served as the speaker of the house under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP.
He was elected Governor in 2019 under the PDP and served for seven months before his tenure was truncated by the Supreme Court and he was replaced by Senator Hope Uzodimma.
His resignation from the PDP has raised dust and uncertainties.
