Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has disclosed that he made himself the Commissioner for Lands because he discovered unprecedented fraud and criminality going on in the ministry.
Governor Uzodimma stated this while addressing the workers during the workers day celebration in the state.
He decried that it seemed that lands that belong to the government belonged to nobody anymore.
Governor Uzodimma further stressed that he had encumbered himself because he cannot allocate land to himself, noting that those who hid under his canopy and pretended to be working for him while stealing land, will no longer have their way.
Recall that the Imo State Governor while inaugurating twenty four commissioners to man the ministries in the state, appointed himself as the commissioner for lands.
