Member representing Aba North/ Aba South federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Alex Ikwechegh, has renovated four blocks of classrooms at Ezeama High School, Aba North.
The intervention, he said was part of his commitment towards delivering quality education in his constituency.
The All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, lawmaker in a statement said that education remained the bedrock of every society.
He decried the state of infrastructure in some public schools in the constituency, and promised to continue to engage the relevant agencies to upgrade them.
The lawmaker who noted that education remained a key priority of his blueprint for his constituents, said the renovated schools would enhance learning among students.
According to him, the newly refurbished classroom blocks will provide inspiring and conducive environment for learning, and elevate the academic experience for both students and teachers.
He said: “This project stands as a testament to my dedication to empowering future generations and fostering sustainable progress within our constituency.”
The lawmaker, therefore, urged management and students of the school to help secure the facilities, and to use them judiciously.
Hon. Ikwechegh, acknowledged the efforts of the Abia State Government towards improving the education sector, and promised to align with the move.
He pledged continued collaboration with relevant federal agencies and the Abia State Government to bring development in his constituency.
“I remain resolutely committed to serving my constituents and advancing the development of Aba and Abia State as a whole,” he added.
