Hon. Aka Eze Aka, the Chairman of Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State, has praised God for blessing him with a child after 21 years of marriage.
Speaking at a reception after the dedication of the child, Jesoeme Okikeabia Eze, in Enugu, Aka, described the coming of the child as a blessing not only to his family but to all those who are facing similar challenge.
“It is a culmination of Gods grace at work, we give thanks to God because after 21 years of marriage, I now have a child.
“I say thank you to God Almighty and that is reflected in the name of my child, Jesoeme; so, I thank God immensely, his name is also Okikeabia, meaning, God has come to do good to us, to humanity,” he said.
Aka, who was the immediate past Commissioner for Information in Enugu State, expressed happiness and joy over the high turnout of people at the event.
“The crowd here has been tremendous, more than I expected, the lowly, the highly, it’s just wonderful, the crowd cut across the society; so I am very very pleased and happy,” he said.
He advised couples praying for a child to remain prayerful and keep looking up to God and never bear grudges because of their situations.
“I don’t pray for anybody to be in that position but sometimes it is inevitable that things like that happen to show God’s grace.
“I advise couples looking for children to be persistent in prayer, do good as much as they can and don’t begrudge anybody because God’s decision is the best and His time is always the best,” Aka said.
