Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has inaugurated the Oranto International Airport Hotel Limited Enugu, built by the president, Atlas Oranto Group, Prince Engr Arthur Eze, located at the Enugu International Airport Enugu.
The Oranto Hotel has 95-room capacity, two conference halls with 470 capacity in total and one boardroom as well.
Dr Mbah described the hotel as magnificent and commended the owner for bringing such edifice to Enugu.
The governor reiterated his avowed commitment to operationalising the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu.
According to him, in a few days time, his administration would launch the Enugu-Air which is in line with his determination to make the state a premier destination for investment, business and tourism.
“Enugu-Air is beyond the procurement of the aircraft, but to ensure that Enugu becomes a hub for international tourism as the state government has put modalities in place to have minimum of three million visitors into the state annually,” Mbah said.
He expressed his administration’s readiness to provide a conducive environment for every genuine investment in the state.
Speaking, Engr. Arthur Eze, narrated the challenges he faced before completing the project, and applauded Governor Mbah for his encouragement.
He also commended him for making Enugu a home for all with his audacious economic and infrastructural development, which he described as unprecedented in the South East-Nigeria.
