In the spirit of the Christmas season, the Imo State Police Command, under the leadership of CP Aboki Danjuma, has distributed palliative support to the families of 30 deceased officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the fight against insecurity.
Some of the items shared include bags of rice, cow, and monetary gifts.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP Sirajo Fana, representing the Commissioner of Police assured the widows of deceased officers that theirs is a priority, especially during the festive season, and encouraged them to remain strong and resilient.
Mrs. Gift Richard Ubi, who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressed profound gratitude for the generous gesture.
She noted that the gift was not only a material relief but also an emotional comfort, especially during the Christmas period.
