The Enugu State Government has launched the “Enugu Cafe One” which is a co-working space and digital hub designed to facilitate employment opportunities for the youths in the state.
While unveiling the centre, Professor Chidiebere Onyia, Secretary to the State Government (SSG), said that the hub was designed to empower Ndi-Enugu with state-of-the-art resources, premium workspaces, and an inspiring atmosphere.
The hub is a collaborative effort between the state government, Café One, Enugu, and Enugu SME Centre.
The SSG described the centre, as heaven for techpreneurs, creatives, and business professionals.
“This is more than just a co-working space; it is a testament to our commitment to fostering digital transformation, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Enugu State.
“Through this partnership, we are equipping young entrepreneurs, creatives, and tech talents with the vital resources needed to thrive in an ever-evolving digital economy.
“This is how we create a future-ready Enugu—by investing in environments that nurture ideas and turn them into successful enterprises,” Onyia said.
Arinze Chilo-Offiah, Special Adviser on MSMEs & Digital Economy and DG of the Enugu SME Centre said that the hub combined productivity, networking, and digital innovation, redefining how entrepreneurs and innovators collaborate and flourish.
He said that the launch was a significant milestone in Governor Peter Mbah’s commitment to digital transformation.
“Today, we unveil not just a co-working space but a gateway to new opportunities for Ndi-Enugu.
“Café One Enugu is where young innovators can connect, learn, and build globally competitive businesses.
“Our vision is clear: to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs with an environment fostering creativity, collaboration, and success.
“The future of work is here, and it begins in Enugu,” he said.
