Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to building a strong economy and creating an environment that will empower its citizens to have a meaningful life.
He stated this at the inauguration of a twelve kilometre Mgbidi-Oguta road, constructed by his administration.
Governor Uzodimma maintained that the provision of quality and durable roads remained important to the state to ensure rapid economic development and close the infrastructure gap in the state.
He disclosed that over 120 roads have been constructed to diversify the economy and industrialise the State.
Governor Uzodimma further stated that the road maintenance agency will be empowered to ensure all the roads in the state are in good condition and urged the local government chairmen and traditional rulers to take ownership of the roads.
