Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia
Governor Alex Otti of Abia State, has said that his administration would not deliberately take any wrong action.
Otti made the promise on Sunday while addressing worshipers at the Streams of Joy International, Umuahia, where he had gone to worship.
The Governor who was welcomed into the arena with joyous ovation, said that he came to worship just like every other person.
He said he came on board to change the narrative and give Abians a new hope, assuring that more developments would be witnessed across the state in the coming months.
“We are just about 20 months in power. The Government that you brought to Power as God directed your heart.
“One thing you can take for granted is that this Government you put in power will not deliberately do anything wrong.
“Whatever you hear people say, have it at the back of your mind that everything this Government does is for humanity, for Abia people, and most importantly for God,” Governor Otti stated amidst shouts of Joy from the congregation.
Pastor Mrs. Enor Jerry Eze led the Church to a fervent prayer for Governor Otti who would be clocking 60 years on Tuesday, 18th February, asking God for good health, long life, wisdom, and greater accomplishments.
The Governor was joined in the Church by the Deputy Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Austin Okezie Mmeregini; the Lawmaker representing Umuahia South, Hon. Emeka Obioma; the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Kenneth Kalu; the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, among other Government functionaries.
