Ugo Nosiri, Owerri
Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has admonished judicial officers in the state to do things acceptable to God and see their office as a sacred mandate.
Governor Uzodimma gave this advice when he swore in Justice Theophilus Nzeukwu as acting Chief Judge of the state, and two commissioners at the New Executive Council Chambers Owerri.
He urged them to restore dignity to their service by doing Justice to the people with the fear of God.
Governor Uzodimma commended the judicial service commission for sanitizing the records of the state judges and ensured that they were well documented.
It would be recalled that the former Chief Judge was removed from Office due to age falsification.
Responding, the Acting Chief Judge, Justice Theophilus Nzeukwu expressed happiness that the Governor found him worthy to serve.
Justice Nzeukwu promised not to betray the confidence reposed in him but promised to devote his time to ensure that justice is served to all in the state.
The two commissioners sworn in were Professor Bernard Ikegwuoha and Mrs Chioma Egu.
