President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, for the work he is doing in the state.
Tinubu gave the commendation on Thursday, after his arrival in the state on a one-day working visit.
The Nigerian leader arrived on board the Nigerian Air Force Airbus at 12pm, wearing the Akwete Igbo fabric with a red cap typical of Soludo’s usual outfit.
Warmly received by Soludo and other top government officials, he marched and headed straight to the podium where the national anthem was sung.
In his address, Tinubu praised Governor Soludo’s visionary leadership, highlighting the impactful projects that have transformed the state’s infrastructure, economy, and social landscape.
He described Soludo as a friend and a visionary leader as well as expressed his admiration for the governor’s achievements in the state.
“I am honoured to be here. I commend my friend, Governor Chukwuma Soludo, who is a visionary and competent leader for the work he has been doing in Anambra State,” he said.
Ikengaonline reports that Tinubu’s visit was to inaugurate several major projects executed by the Soludo administration in the state.
The projects commissioned by the President include the Emeka Anyaoku Center at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, the new Government House, the Solution Fun City, and the 8-lane Aroma-Government House Boulevard in Awka, the state capital.
