Four children of the same parents in Eche Ezema, Ibagwa Aka, headquarters of Igbo Eze South Local Government Area of Enugu State have been reportedly murdered.
A family source who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the children were allegedly killed with pestle by a suspect named Pastor Chinedu Eze of a Sabbath Church who is currently with the Divisional Police Station, Ibagwa Aka.
The deceased children include Kamsiyochukwu Ezema, female, 7 years; Ezinne Ezema, female, 6 years; Ujunwa Ezema, female, 5 years; and Chinedu Ezema, male, 2 years.
The parents of the children, Mr. Ezema Chinonso and Mrs. Loveth Ezema have confirmed the incident, saying they were waiting for the police to do justice to the matter.
Speaking with shock and disbelief, the father of the children said he was away with his wife when the assailants allegedly scaled the fence into their compound and killed the four children.
He said that the family shared a common fence with the Sabbath Church.
A police officer attached to the station also said the matter had been incidented.
The officer, who pleaded unanimity said that the matter was being investigated and appealed for patience to allow full investigation and unravel all the issues surrounding the matter.
