The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has disclosed details of electronic devices recovered from the residence of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, as part of an ongoing investigation.
In a statement, the anti-graft agency said the items seized were predominantly electronic devices and digital storage equipment.
According to the commission, operatives recovered nine flash drives, one memory card and seven hard drives. Several laptops were also listed among the items taken, including Apple MacBook Pro and Elumac Book Pro models.
Mobile phones formed part of the recovery. The ICPC said the devices include a Blackberry handset, a Nokia N95, Toshiba and Samsung IDEOS models, a Google IDEOS device, as well as 18 other mobile phones.
In addition, operatives reportedly retrieved a Remarkable tablet along with its chargers. The commission further disclosed that folders containing flight tickets were stored across various digital devices.
The ICPC stated that all recovered items were properly documented, sealed and prepared for forensic analysis in line with standard investigative procedures. It added that the examination forms part of efforts to establish relevant facts as investigations continue.
