The flag bearer of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, has swept additional five Local Government Areas in Abia State, thus winning in all seven LGAs so far declared.
Obi had earlier won in Isiala Ngwa North, and Isuikwuato LGAs earlier announced by INEC.
Candidate of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state, Atiku Abubakar, is trailing behind while his All Progressives Congress, APC, counterpart, Bola Tinubu, comes a distant third.
Obi won even in the Bende LGA of the Senate Chief Whip, and a chieftain of the APC, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, with a whopping 18, 446.
The APC candidate scored only 1,545 votes.
