Ekebedi Central School Ikwuano in Ikwuano Local Government Area, is completely overgrown by weeds.
The school, right on the Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene Road, has only one functional block of three classrooms standing as every other building in the premises had either collapsed or had dilapidated roofs.
Ikengaonline crew was on transit when it ran into the school and took some pictures of the bushy premises.
A number of public schools in Abia State especially those in the rural communities are in very bad shape. Recall that Ikengaonline recently released a performance Report on the immediate past governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, and education was one the sectors he scored the least in what was recorded as “Fail” in his eight years performance.
