There is heavy presence of security around the premises of the Supreme Court Abuja, as the Justice Inyan Okoro-led seven-man Justices begin judgment and appeal brought by the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar; and Labour Party, Peter Obi, seeking the nullification of the election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The vicinity and adjoining roads leading into and out of the Supreme Court, venue of the judgment, were cordoned off by heavily armed security operatives.
Visitors to the premises were subjected to thorough screening.
Earlier, cameramen from Media houses were denied access to the premises but after some times, the apex court decided to allow live coverage of the proceedings.
