Governor Alex Otti of Abia State, has appointed 24 new Permanent Secretaries.
The appointment is coming barely four months after the Governor suspended the former Permanent Secretaries in the state and replaced them with Acting ones.
According to a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Professor Kenneth Kalu, the newly appointed Perm Secs are to come to the office of the SSG for further directives.
The Governor had also recently, insisted on full implementation of the policy which recommends compulsory retirement for any civil servant who has served as a Perm Sec for four years, and eight years as Director.
