The management of Rangers International F.C. has completed plans to organise a screening exercise to seek out talents for its U-13, U-15, and U-17 teams to fulfill its promise of running teams for the stated age grades.
The General Manager/CEO of the club, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, made this known in Enugu.
He said that the exercise would take place at the Rangers Training Pitch, Independence Layout, Enugu on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 2:00 pm.
“It has been the dream of management to set up viable youth teams to act as a breeding ground for teaching the club’s football philosophy and playing style.
“Based on our earlier promise to have youth teams, the club will assemble a screening exercise to discover budding football talents to fill spaces in our Rangers U-13 to U-17 teams.
“The programme will take place on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the Rangers Training Pitch, Independence Layout, Enugu,” Ezeaku said.
According to the Media Officer of Rangers, Norbert Okolie, the General manager/CEO had at his inaugural interactive session with the media announced various innovative ideas that would be activated to make the team a truly professional outfit.
