The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Thursday, arraigned the immediate-past Minister for Aviation, Hadi Sirika, and his daughter over N2.7 billion fraud in connection with the botched Nigeria Air project.
They were arraigned before a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.
The court presided over by Justice Oriji, later granted bail to the duo plus two others in the sum of ₦100 million with two sureties.
According to the court, the sureties must have landed properties in Abuja and also must be responsible citizens.
Similarly, the sureties must depose to an affidavit of means. The court also restricted the defendants from travelling abroad without its permission.
The courts ordered that the defendants be remanded in prison custody if they failed to meet their bail conditions.
