A group of suspected gunmen have reportedly attacked and killed police officers, attached to Nnewi, Anambra State.
A source in a trending video said the incident occurred at Akabu-Ukwu, Uruagu Nnew,i in the early hours of Thursday, October 3.
Ikengaonline learned that the attack resulted in the death of approximately two policemen. The viral video also showed the victims lifeless bodies in a pool of blood.
It captured the gunmen setting fire to the police vehicle, adding to the intensity and devastation of the attack.
Effort to reach out to the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ikenga Tochukwu, for comments on the incident proved futile as he was yet to respond to as at the time of filing this report.
