Nigeria’s electricity grid collapsed again on Tuesday plunging the over 200 million inhabitants into total blackout.
The country has been grappling with electricity supply challenges which have worsened in recent times.
The Nigeria National Grid operator confirmed the collapse on its X handle in a post made at 2:45 pm on Tuesday.
“National Grid suffers another setback, restoration soon,” the post read.
A rundown on the same handle showed that all the 21 power stations in the country are presently down.
The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) in a statement confirmed the collapse.
