The management of Dangote Petroleum Refinery has expressed appreciation to its stakeholders for their continued support amid the ongoing strike action by members of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN).
In a statement issued on Monday and titled “Note of Appreciation,” the company reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the Nigerian nation, pledging to ensure uninterrupted production of petroleum products despite what it described as distractions from detractors and saboteurs.
“Finally, and to all our other stakeholders, big and small, we thank you and will continue to always count on your support,” the statement read.
“We would not relent in serving the Nigerian nation faithfully and diligently through the uninterrupted production of our petroleum products.”
Dangote Refinery further assured Nigerians that its “commitment to the Nigerian nation and our pact with its people remain undiluted, undimmed, and unalterable notwithstanding the distractions from our detractors and the saboteurs in our midst.”
The company’s management signed off the note, dated October 6, 2025, amid tensions following reports of industrial action by PENGASSAN, which has affected operations in some parts of the oil and gas sector.
While details of the dispute remain sketchy, the statement underscores Dangote Refinery’s determination to sustain production and maintain national energy stability during the ongoing crisis.
