The Super Eagles of Nigeria, on Wednesday night, lost to host nation Morocco in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Morocco scored four goals against the Eagles’ two in a penalty shootout after regulation time of their semi-final encounter ended goalless.
With the victory over Nigeria, Morocco have booked a place in the AFCON final.
Ikengaonline reports that Morocco will now play Senegal in Sunday’s showpiece final after Senegal defeated Egypt 1–0 in the other semi-final earlier.
