Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia No fewer than 200 female students in Abia State, have received free sanitary pads from Rotary Club International. The beneficiaries included secondary school students of Michael Okpara University Demonstration Secondary School, Umudike; and their counterparts from Ndume-Otuka Community Secondary School. Each of beneficiary received a ten-in-one pack of the reusable sanitary pads during the event. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Justice Nyesom-Wike Suzzette, wife of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, and former Rivers State Governor, Nyseom Wike, has been recommended by the National Judicial Council, NJC, for promotion to the Court of Appeal. NJC also recommended Justice Ariwoola Oluwakemi Victoria, the daughter-in-law to the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Olukayode Ariwoola, for promotion to the Federal High Court, Abuja.
