Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Ebonyi State Government has denied spending N1.1bn on wildlife conservation as captured in its quarterly budget implementation report. Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki  The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, has condemned the threat by the Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, to sack striking workers describing it as irresponsible and unhelpful. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia  It was a harvest of First Class over the weekend at the 12th convocation ceremony of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, MOUAU, as no fewer than 162 out of the 4,781 graduands made First Class honours.
