Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Governor Chukwuma Soludo-led administration in Anambra State has given a name to the newly inauguarated government house in Awka, the state capital. The name was one of the decisions taken at the 10th Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) meeting held at the government house on Tuesday. The counsel urged the Nigerian government and Swiss authorities to probe the killing allegedly perpetrated by some Swiss police officers. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, Peter Obi, has visited last week’s flood victims in Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State, and donated N20 million to them.
