Ike Nnachi, Abakaliki Ebonyi State Government says that it has finalised plans to establish a Metallurgical Institute for research purposes in the State. Chidi Onyia, the Commissioner for Solid Mineral Development, stated this in Abakaliki, capital of Ebonyi State. He explained that the Institute would also be utilised for testing of minerals, which is said to have potentials to boost State’s revenue generation. Ben Ezechime, Enugu The Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN), has urged the Enugu State Government to address irregularities in the payment of Consolidated Health Salary Structures (CONHESS), to health workers in the state.
