Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Members of Enugwu Agidi community, in Njikoka Local Government Area, Anambra State, Tuesday staged a peaceful protest against the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC), decrying years of alleged extortion and exploitation through estimated billing, despite little or no electricity supply. Ben Ezechime, Enugu The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Enugu State, in collaboration with the MTN Foundation, has carried out an anti-drug abuse campaign in Enugu. Speaking during the campaign, Mr John Ada-Ogah, Deputy State Commander in charge of operation and intelligence disclosed that no fewer than 400,000 persons indulge in drugs abuse in the state. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka The Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Anambra State Council, has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for establishing the Electricity Regulatory Commission (ERC) to improve power supply in the state.
