Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Rights group, African Centre for Human  Advancement and Resource Support, CHARS-Africa, has demanded a probe into the reported helicopter attack on Mbosi Community in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State on Tuesday May 14. The group which condemned the incident said that the confusion over those behind the incident is generating curiosity, hence the urgent need for the investigation. Ben Ezechime, Enugu  The Police Command in Enugu State says it has arrested a 24-year-old native doctor, Mr Ejike Chinonso and recovered two firearms and ammunition. SP Daniel Ndukwe, the command’s spokesperson said that the native doctor also confessed to being a member of the Black Axe confraternity. Ndukwe said that the operation was carried out by operatives on May 15, 2025, at the suspect’s shrine in Ugwuochie-Iwollo, Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State. Lawrence Nwimo, Awka Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has condemned the murder of Barrister Ifeanyi Iloakasia, a lawyer and President General of Aguleri community in Anambra East Local Government Area of the State. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia The education transformation agenda of the Abia State Government, yesterday, received a major boost, following the launch of the Nigeria Learning Passport (NLP) in the state by UNICEF. Abia is the 22nd state to embrace NLP which came into focus during the COVID-19 era. NLP, a digital platform developed to mitigate the challenge of insufficient instructional materials in schools, provides both teachers and students, access to developed lesson notes on different topics.
