Ben Ezechime, Enugu The Former Speaker of Enugu State House of Assembly, Chief Eugene Odo has described late Sen. Ayogu Eze as a selfless leader who contributed his best in the development of the state and Nigeria. Odo  made the tribute in an  interview with newsmen in Enugu on Friday. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia No fewer than 118 inmates escaped from the Medium Security Custodial Centre in Suleja, Ikengaonline can authoritatively report. The incident occured Wednesday night following a heavy downpour that wreaked havoc on the facility. Spokesperson, Federal Capital Territory Command of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Adamu Duza, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday. He noted that the downpour caused severe damage to the custodial centre’s infrastructure, including a breach in the perimeter fence, which allowed the inmates to flee.
