Ben Ezechime, Enugu  The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) Enugu State Command has dismissed an online report on kidnapper of 12-year-old girl in Rivers State traced to someone serving within Enugu Custodial Centre. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has cried out for federal intervention, saying that the state is under siege by Fulani herdsmen who have been on killing spree in the state. Herdsmen had struck twice since Thursday, leaving a death toll of no fewer than 72 victims in two Benue communities. The affected communities, according to reports, are in  Ukum and Logo Local Government Areas. Stephen Ukandu, Umuahia President Bola Tinubu is expected back in Nigeria today (Monday, April 21) after spending close to two weeks abroad.
